TTC Support Needed! Anyone wanna join me?

Hey ladies! Let's get this board moving! I have been checking off an on to see if there were any new posts, but rarely are there any

So, I'll start by an introduction.....

I am 27 years old and my partner is 32. We have been together for 3 years and we are planning a commitment ceremony to take place in November

We have started TTC in January of this year. We have only tried like 4 times using donor sperm from Fairfax Cryobank. My cycles have become more regular 28-30 days, and I ovulate every month, but I still don't think that the timing is correct. I am currently taking 25 mgs of clomid along with metformin. We met a great male couple through church and probably will be doing our future inseminations with one of them..finally a live donor instead of frozen swimmers. The rate of success if much higher when using fresh sperm. I have a great feeling and am excited about this. We are still working on the legal issues and contracts, but we hope to start at the end of August, if all goes well.

Well I am very excited about this board and I truly hope we can get it moving again. So are there any other ladies out there TTC? Hey, we all need support

Well I will be in September.
Its nice to see someone on here. I to have been checking in from time to time but have pretty much given up I have been spending time on the FF web site there is a great Lesbian group there they can also help you figure your o date to.

I am 25 and DP is 27 we have also been together for almost 3 years. We will TTC with a known donor who will be known to the child as the father but DP and I will take care of it. I cant wait till Sept my SIL is due to POP anyday now and I am so jealous. DP and I were going to put it off for another year but after watching her be PG and get ready for baby we decided now is as good a time as any.

Thanks for responding! I am so happy to see someone on here! Yes, this board has been very very slow and I am hoping that other women will come here so we can be supportive of one another. As a lesbian it is so difficult to find support while TTC. Congratulations on TTC. So you start in September huh? Is the donor a close friend of you and your partner's? I think that is just great! I hope that I can start next month, but if not, I may have an IUI at the doctor's office. Then again, I hate shelling out that much money! Anyway, I wish you the very best. Please keep in touch. Yes our donor is a very good friend of ours I have known him all my life so even if he wasn't the donor he would probably be like a father to our children anyway so it works out great. My DP will TTC a couple years after our first is born and the great thing is our bio children will have the same father so they will really be blood siblings.
On the circles on FF there is a board that says TTC with donor sperm and in there is the lesbian TTC board it is really active theres about 10 of us maybe and we talk all day its really nice. you can e-mail me at anytime to KellysMamas@aol.com. and I am on FF almost all day at work (but dont tell my boss
