Default ttc. temps thermometer?????

Hi

I went to my doctors today and she told me to try taking my temp every morning to see if ovulation is taking place. Ive no idea what sort of thermometer to get or where from so any info is greatfully received.

thanks

Lynn

I got a digital thermometer in Boots (actually two as my dh dropped my frist one in the bath! )

It cost about £8, I also used a chart from http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ which made it easier to interpret the findings.

Have you read "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? It's a must when ttc. It costs about £17 from amazon, but it's well worth it. She also has a website http://www.tcoyf.com/ nd has charts, but I think you only get them free for so long and then you pay for them.

Good luck, and heaps of ~*~*~babydust~*~*~ to you.

I'm using one from Boots that comes in a pack with charts and a case to keep it all together. It's a digital one. I tried a glass one last year, but I kept falling back to sleep with it in my mouth on the days I didn't have to wake up early. I worked shifts as a student nurse so I had to get up by 5 some days and since you're s'posed to take it at about the same time each day, I took my temp at 5 am every day. The digital one is much faster--and the beep when it's done wakes me back up if i did start to doze.
