Hey there, hoping someone can advise...
I'm 32 and have known I have PCOS for 12 years now. I never ever used to have AF but then lost 1.5 stone in weight last year and since then have been having AF every 3-4 months or so (result!

)
Anyway, 2 weeks ago I started with the old tummy cramps that I usually get for a day or so before AF arrives....and the tummy cramps have continued on since then but no AF

One night last week I woke up at 3am with the most almighty period pains, I rushed to the loo convinced I was about to make a horrible mess (sorry if TMI!) but nothing, and spent the next 3 hours sitting up with a hot water bottle and aspirin as I was in so much pain there was no way I was going to sleep.
A couple of days later I had to abandon a customer (I work as a cashier) mid-sale and dash to the loo as I had such strong crampy feelings that again I was convinced AF had arrived and I was about to make a mess everywhere. Again, nothing.
So I'm getting pretty tired of this. I still have the cramps - nothing bad now, just the usual dull achiness - but no sign of AF starting. I feel as though I'm just on the brink of it arriving but for some reason it's holding out on me! Anyone else get this, and did you find a way to make AF arrive?!
P.S. I know I don't have endometriosis as I had a laparoscopy a couple of years ago and it was clear other than the PCOS.
Cheers me dears,
Helen
