Default Tummy hair

Hi everyone, I don't know if I have posted on here before, but I have a question.

Does anyone else have an excess of hair on their stomach? Not just a "trail to paradise" (although that itself is embarrassing), but spreading all around the lower stomach area? It's gross, and when I try to shave it, it seems to come back even thicker! This is unacceptable to me! I also have facial hair, although it's not incredibly noticeable. I have to pluck it every day though.

Does anyone else have these problems? What do you do for them? Please help. :0(

how thick is your hair? because all people have baby hair on their abdomen some just have a tad darker htan others.. like mine is okay until it gets lower and lower and it starts to get a bit darker but i dont want to shave it because IT WILL COME BACK DARKER for sure. one timewhen i was youger..i was playing with a razor and shaved off like a tiny bit of hair on my tummy near my belly buttonn.. now that one spot has darker hair htan the rest of my tummy. HOW RANDOM?

i think im just gona bleach it or just leave it alone cause its not THATT bad. i think shaving it more will jus tmake it worse. itll start looking manly. ;x soo either leav eit alone orrr bleach it. i dont recommend u shaving it any more ;x

lol oh my gosh, I hope you all know I wasn't trying to imply anything with the "surface area" thing...

I know I've posted about bleaching before and I personally do not recommed it. At first a nice solution but it gets down into the hair follicle, irritates, aggrivates and my dark hairs grow in thicker. After awhile the bleach makes the hairs a nasty wirey orangy blond mess. I used to bleach everywhere and after awhile my mom who is usually really sensitive was like um, you should leave you hair alone. I had the reddest, bumpy rash. Very painful rash. It depends on your own hair growth. My hair grows in quite often so I sometimes bleached everyday which the instructions state not to do. And I used alot of bleach. There are kits designed for large areas and thick hair but they are too strong for sensitive skin. It is also quite obvious if you have dark hair and miss a spot. I also shaved my stomach and then plucked it. Now it is esp. gross around and below the navel so I left it awhile. Waxing is the best solution I find on a weeks when I want to show my belly. I now avoid swimming or wear a t-shirt over my bikini top. I used to be super self-conscious until one day my friend got a peek at my tummy and was like hey me too. Yay!

I have a "wall" of hair on my lower stomach. I just shave it, although I found that it did thin out significantly with the spiro.

I have a lot of hair on my lower belly too. I've already scheduled laser to have it removed so hopefully that will work out

I never had a problem with belly hair 'til I was PG with DD2. Now, I have to shave it at least 2-3X/ week. I'm having more hair issues as I'm getting older, too. I've noticed in the past year or so, a few here and there on my face.

I have this lower belly hair too. I have shaven it once before and it didn't seem to come back any thicker. But then again at how thick my hair is and I don't think hair can be any thicker.

I have tummy hair as well. I usually shave it.... I have tried Nair before, but the hair starts to come back in within a few days, and then it almost hurts my skin to shave or pluck it. Gillette must be able to survive soley off my business alone with all the shaving products I buy (or at least that is how I feel sometimes!)

Yeah, I do! This may sound kinda of crazy, but I actually like mine. It's been with me so long, i never knew that it was PCOS until I was recently diagnosed. I guess you (we) gotta see some positive and the uniqueness that we share with this PCOS thing(or else we'd all be perfect) Take the negative and turn it into a positive You can't spend your life consumed by it, ya know. If it's that bad, I'd go with professional help

Mine is really bad. Some of the hairs are longer than an inch. Waxing worked well for me in the past but now that my belly is flabby from having babies it is harder to wax. I am going to get an estimate for getting laser on the tummy as well as my face. We will see!

i also have this issue of hair on my lower stomach it is quite dense but the hair is not really thick so it don't really bother me there. the hair on my lip makes me a little self concious but i have become more at ease with it over the last few years.
Its not the hair is excessivly thick it's just my skin is very, very pale and my hair is very very dark. the two together don't mix really well.
But don't feel your on your own with the hair issue, i think women with pcos keep the hair removing companys going.
