I am a little worried about some stomach pains I have been getting. It's doesn't seem to be wind pain. It's more like cramping, but not period pain cramping.
I have been on metformin almost a month and up until now haven't had any real discomfort. If it was gastric pain or something I wouldn't be alarmed, it's just that it's such a weird sorta pain, not excruciating but very uncomfortable. Pains under my ribs and different types
Do women get this sorta pain when pregnant??? (I'm ttc)
I thought it may also be from having fajitas last night? I haven't been having much greasy food lately. As I said it doesn't feel like gastric pains though.
i'm also having this kind of pain. was very sensitive during my well woman exam when she was feeling for fibroids...
i'm also TTC, and yes, it's almost like a symptom. I've been pregnant before and remember that feeling, but I KNOW I'm not pregnant--pretty hard to be pregnant if you don't ovulate.

I started Met last Friday and 5 days after that I started having this butterfly feeling under my belly button. And now it also feel sore under my ribs. I was going to post about this today when I found your post.
I took met years ago and I don't remember feeling this?

I was about to post about my pain also when I found this. I started MET last week. I just started 1000 mg the day before yesterday. I have had pain around my lower abdomen since last night. The pain seems to be coming from my ovaries but I know I haven't ovulated. If anybody has any ideas, please share.

Clomid (3 cycles) - 1997 (failed)
IUI-1998 (one cycle failed then took a break)
Met 2000 mg - 10/2006
Cysts, anovulatory, overweight, acanthosis nigricans, skin tags, facial hair, acne, and OF COURSE, infertility.
i would guess it's just because you just started. 1000 mg is quite a bit to adjust to... I hope it goes away soon. Met can kick your butt in the beginning.

I also started met about 5 days ago. 500 MG. I have been getting pains also that feel like they are my ovaries. I also do not believe it is ovulation. I am going to call the Dr tomorrow just to check. Let you know.

I am not seeing an RE. I see Dr. Pablo Quintella on Stirling a block east from Palm Avenue in Cooper City.

I am seeing my obgyn for this. Dr Michael Benjamin in Tamarac. He is wonderful! I am in Davie on Pine Island between Nova Rd and Griffin Rd. I'll let you know what the dr says later on
