Our focus is Weight Loss Support - but that's certainly *not* what we're all about ...

We Learn, Laugh, Cry, Support - heck, we talk about everything! We will be having different goals/challenges throughout the year. Some weekly & some more long term. Thanks for the new thread hun!

Yeah I have been totally swamped and from May 2nd to 11th I was on vacation back home in BC ... now it's back to the good ole working grind. ugh.

Oh and I have GAINED weight! eek!!! I am at 208. Sigh.

Welcome back Corrie-Ann,

Yeah I splurged on pizza this past Saturday and gained 5lbs (wtf?!)
But hoping it's all water weight because I haven't watched my sodium well, and hoping it comes off and I finally break the barrier of the 240's this Friday. I've been working my ass off, at least an hour of cardio a day. Surely it can't be for nothing.

Sorry for being away so long.

It has been crazy changing job and all. The first thing that happens when I get to my new job is that all my co-workers fell ill so I had to do everything by my self.

On the plus side I now have stopped eating out a lunch and there is lots of stairs to climb. I also have an allotment that requires me to dig and do all kinds of hard physical labor. I feel stronger all ready. Hopefully it makes a bit of difference.
And I have also made a research study on PCOS that focus on diet and exercise. Have my first meeting tomorrow.

Things is looking up.

I know how that can be with co-workers. Luckily I'm in a job now where I don't get all the extra work if someone else falls out of the loop. The pay of god awful, but I'm happier there.
I think I've finally broken the horrible 240s plateau. I'm exercising more and eating well. Last week wasn't that great and I missed my goal, I don't even think I worked out. We had both vehicles break down and the stress from having to find $1400 out of no where was too much. We got mine fixed ($200 for it, was just the alternator) but my husbands' needs a new head gasket and exhaust. We won't get it back for at least another week.
