on Terrell avenue in downtown ft worth the practice run by Dr Laura Bradford and Dr Ruth Wiley. i wanted to get in to see dr bradford at first but she is booked solid for like a year haha. Dr Wiley is so awesome. She remembers everything you talk to her about
can you ask her if she could recommend an ob/gyn in arlington/grand prairie or cedar hill/duncanville? I am in Grand Prairie and have had a horrible time finding a good ob/gyn that knows about PCOS. I see a RE at UTSW but don't want to drive to Dallas for appts. Last ob/gyn I had wanted to argue about my PCOS diagnosis...saying I didn't have it yet 2 different REs have said yes. Frustration~
I have a new OB that I totally love! He is just kind and very one on one. He is sending me to his friend in Arlington that he went to school with and they did residency together. His name is Derek Anthony Haas. Google him - he has PCOS listed as a area of focus and he has been published. I have not met him yet but I have total faith in my new doctor. He is also a Fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology - so he should get it!
Let me know what you think! I can't wait to meet him. I just lost my twins at 13 weeks so I have to wait for my body to heal. Fifth Miscarriage. I didn't really want to see another doctor, but his bio made me very hopeful and encouraged. I will not get pregnant again until I have some more definitive explanantions.

alicia...sorry about your loss. I used my ins to find an ob/gyn. I have a RE that I think is decent plus I think I can sneak around ins not paying for the visits easier where I am so I'll stick with her when I try again. Good luck with Dr Haas. I have seen his name before too.
I understand how that can be irritating. You can always ask can you talk with Dr Wilson too. I have gone in to meet with her and have offered what i thought would be my next plan of action. So when I do try again, I am going to do the plan I suggested. I had to see a RE for DS and the protocol was pretty much the same as far as the in-between appts but I do know it is not seeing the dr face to face. But fellows are pretty well trained...if it was a medical student or resident, I'd pass thanks~
