I'm Corey..I'm 23 and was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I've been experiencing pelvic pain on my left side down by my ovaries, so my dr has recommended that I have a procedure done to see if I have endometriosis. As if these complications don't make it bad enough, I have had juvenille diabetes since the age of 10. I have just recently started to control my diabetes because I am wanting to get pregnant. Is there anyone out there that has PCOS and juvenille diabetes? The Drs have me on Metformin, Humalog Insulin, Yasmin, Minocycline, Differin & Clindagel. Basically, my testosterone levels have been a little high causing acne..which is the reason for Differin, Clindagel and Minocycline. I believe the Minocycline makes my birth control ineffective..is this correct? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much!

hi i have pcos and type 1 diabetes... i have to rely on and insulin pump. i used to take humolog mixed insulin but it just wasnt cutting it for me anymore...my husband and i have decided not to have children because i dont want to pass anythign on, plus to be really truthfull... babies scare me. but good luck with everything.
