Default Is this typical? help!

TMI... but I get hair on my nipples. I pluck it but it comes back and it weirds me AND my husband out! Is this typical of PCOS?

And the facial hair... I shave it but it seems to come back almost immediately now. Any advice on better ways to deal with it? I'm a pain-punk.

EYEBROWS! OMG... I pluck them constantly and wake up and need to pluck again. What in the world do we do??

This is the first I've really thought about the hair aspect... help!

You're not alone!
I have the same problems as you when it comes to the nipple hair and plucking.
I just tweeze the nipple hair, when I got diagnosed the doctor told me it was common to have nipple hair with PCOS but I've had other people who don't have PCOS say that they too have nipple hair.
I usually wax my eyebrows, but it seems like I have to go more then my friends do. I'm always tweezing at least once a week after I get them waxed, I was always under the impression that waxing was supposed to last more than a week!

I got my brows waxed once. $12 and pain and I saw no difference.

Oh well.

I suddenly feel the need to bathe in depilatory cream.

PCOS-related hair grows in an atypical male pattern....sideburns, chin, chest, back, etc. Nipple hair and eyebrows are "normal" and the thickness and rate of growth depends on heredity.

Get on a bunch of anti androgens and the hair growth slows down MASSIVELY ... I went on PRoscar Diane35 under a year ago and I swear the body hair especially nipple hair and tummy hair have all but gone ... I would be tweezing, waxing and plucking my sideburns, chin, neck and stomach weekly... oh and the moustache .. I used to do it four weekly now I NEVER do it .....

really a strong anti androgen drug (for life though) is the best for body hair

My roomate who was pretty much hairless everywhere else from what I could see, and gosh knows how we got on this conversation, told me that she gets nipple hairs and plucks them like crazy. I guess it depends on genes and how sensitive the hair follicles are in that region to androgens
