That's way too coincidental!! I travel for a living and we had to go to Sidney, MT and my co-workers luggage ended up in Sydney Australia!!! This time of year, Sydney is a much warmer place. That poor tourist probably didn't even have a coat!!

We had a simliar situation here in Canada, where a family wanted to travel to Sydney, Australia, but ended up in the east coast of Canada in Sydney, Nova Scotia... Although I would think that the price should have given away that they entered something wrong... I think they said they thought they were getting a great deal, but the ticket to Sydney, Nova Scotia is less than half the price to fly to Australia, I don't think they give great deals like that...
