Question UK Adoption

I know I should really post this in the Adoption forum but the majority of people in there are americans adopting from overseas and have no idea what I am on about.

I would like to know if anyone here has adopted or tried to adopt through the UK System.
Me and my dh are starting to consider other options and want to know people twhat other think and what they have been though. Has any one adopted from overseas in the uk?

THANK YOU!!!!!!!
HUGS AND KISSES AND LARGE CHOCOLATE BARS TO YOU ALL.

Hello

No, sorry, I don't have any experience of the Adoption Option.

Wouldn't mind the chocolate bar, though ...............

((hugs)) Eva

We are currently being referees for friends who are planning to foster. They thought about adoption, but most children are put in foster care now rather than being adopted, but often this leads on to the foster carer adopting the child if the parent can't take them back.
We are actually seeing the social worker tomorrow, so if I find out anything from her I will let you know.
