Hi! I know there is an exercise buddy forum but I didn't see many UK cysters on there. I live just outside of Lincoln and know that when I have a buddy to work out with I stick to it whole heartedly. Is there anyone in the area that's interested in working out?

I was just about to post the same thread on here. Unfortunately i'm not in the Midlands, but in Sunderland and I too desperately need some help and someone to go on walks with and keep motivated, i'm desperate as i am going on holiday in 8 weeks and need to lose a dress size.

Cazza - I know the feeling! *L* It's difficult to keep motivated on your own. Well good luck with that dress size! And if nothing else we can always check in on here for each other! I've been way too lazy lately that's for sure.

I very nearly got out and went for a long walk today..... so what i hear you say.
The thing is i have wanted to go for some excerise with my husband but after 6pm i'm always too tired, and having stomach problems as well as being on Xenical going after tea is not the best plan. I don't have anyone to go with in the day cos everyone's at work or too busy. I live near the coast and i got my husband to drive to the cliffs to start our walk, got there and felt a few of the stomach pains so didn't go very far.... but its a start.
Not only for the excerise but the walk clears my head and me and DH can walk about stuff!
One step closer, I will be thin before you know!!!

At least you got out! I bet the view from the cliffs is amazing. Unfortunately, I sprained my back on Sunday so I'm out of commission for a bit. :-(
