and i have raised cholesterol so am on simvistatin too.

Question for you UK ladies, my doctor (who i have been seeing for past 6 years) said i can try the clomid a few more times, if that doesnt work then the only other option is IVF as i have a daughter already. SO thats it, clomid or nothing.....what options were you given and what have you tried. pm me if you like xxxx
I don't understand why they would have you leap from clomid to IVF!! There are other drugs like femara but they are not liscensed for use here. Although obviously people do still get them from unconventional sources...((wink))((wink)) The other thing I was tried on is taking the clomid different days to see if the results were better.

IUI would have been my next move once the clomid cycles were exhausted. It's not as expensive as IVF. Is this a GP or a fertility consultant?

Sorry they are being so awkward. That seems to be the policy everywhere that is you have previously had a child they won't give you NHS funded IVF. I was not eligible in my PCT because I was over 37. But, luckily the clomid did work. Had it not we would have had to pay for IUI, it's a lot cheaper than IVF.

Good luck with the clomid, hopefully it will work for you.

It's actually less than that because it's twins they are considered full term at 38 weeks. So, it's more like 20 something which is beyond scary!! I have pretty much everything ready. Buying two of everything really adds up!!

Good luck with your dose. I would have upped mine had it not worked this time. This was my third cycle of 50mg.
