so sorry this is getting you down it gets to me to have you had a word with your gp to find out if lazer is available on the nhs?
i went and enquired and was thrilled to say i was told i could have it but then was told 2 weeks from my first appointment it was disbanded due to lack of funds i was gutted.
it might be your health authority do still have it so go and ask you have nothing to lose, im not sure about private treatment but yet again ask your gp for advice if you can, pm me if you need someone to talk to, you arent alone,

cheers. i am in manchester btw, and due to go see my doc, but wanted to know if anyone more experienced was able to inform me, so nasty man doctor doesn't just fob me off!

Hmm, I haven't had this myself but I wrote briefly to another poster who had laser treatment on the NHS at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. This is a probably a "postcode lottery" situation but worth a try??
