...plain pvc tablecloth??? I can find shops that do pvc tablecloths but only in really brightly coloured patterns. I need a tablecloth to cover our hand-me-down table which is many, many years old. Due to the really dodgy decor in our dining room, which won't be changed til next year, I need a plain one, in a cream or natural or biscuit kind of colour...lighter the better. And I need a PVC one because Dara manages to get her food everywhere...and there's no way I'm going to wash a table cloth every day. Argos had one in their last catalogue but seem to have discontinued it now.
How about Wilkinsons or ummm EBay or ummm www.tableclothsonline.co.uk - not sure if they have anything as just about to go walk a dog... perhaps search online?

Ok I found a not too garish one - on www.tableclothsonline.co.uk and then Vinyl tablecloths, then scroll down and look at Rose Damask... that looks fairly neutral. It's weird how they are all so brightly patterned!!

I have a nice Victorian table - looks like it came from a farm round here - and have found PVC table cloths, to protect it, in small, local old fashioned hardware shops - you know that still sell nails and screws by weight, and have clothes pegs, scales, that kind of stock? There's a couple here in York that have them - you can buy it by the metre.

Thanks for the internet links ladies! Can always count on you... I'm trying to avoid the internet because I have visitors coming for a few days on Saturday and would like to have it by then...unlikely that I'd get an internet order delivered by then...may have to wait though!
