Default UK Specific - Campaign for Laser/IPl treatment on NHS

Hi everyone

(Apologies to non-UK Cysters, but this applies to UK only!)

As I am sure many of you are very well aware, excess hair (Hirsutism) can have a huge affect on a woman's self esteem and this is a very sensitive issue that often gets dismissed or handled insensitively.

I am one of a group of British women with PCOS who are trying to campaign to get laser/IPL treatment offered on the NHS (British National Health Service) countrywide (at present this treatment is only offered in a handful of areas in the UK). If anyone is interested in supporting this campaign, please visit the PCOS Equality campaign website www.pcos-equality.org.uk and follow the link to the petition.

(You do not need to suffer from PCOS to sign the petition, any signatures will be appreciated, so please feel free to ask your friends to sign too!)

Thanks very much for reading.
