My baby died of an umbilical cord accident just before 20 weeks. If you meant whether or not the cord would still be around her neck, yes it was but she didnt look in distress if that is what you meant.
I hope this helps

My question is if the Doctor said a baby died from the umbilical cord being around his shoulder but when he came out he didnt have the cord wrap around his shoulder at all.And the Doctor tryed to block us from seeing the baby coming out.now dont that seems like foul play???
Even if the doctor was wrong about why the baby died (if possibly it wasn't a cord accident,) the baby would still have passed away, right? I don't understand how this would be 'foul play.'
Unless I'm missing something else?

Was this a still birth? If so I'm sure the doctor was just trying to lessen the distress.
i think the doctor was trying to avoid any further pain! Remember that while doctors can amke erros they ar ehuman and still have human emotions. That doctor was probably a arent him/herself and probably empathized with your situation.
I am soo soo sorry for your loss!
However, if you feel there was definite "foul play" then maybe you need to speak with someone first.
I will pray for your strength

Jasmine, there's a Cyster on the boards who uses the screen name JakesAngel, and she lost her son this way last spring. I know that she's very active in educating and spreading word about cord-related deaths, and she could probably answer some of the questions that you may have.
She's on the pregnancy loss boards, and I am sure that she would be complimented if you sent her a PM.
Wishing you much love and strength...
