Umm problems...is this normal?

I have searched through some of the forum (please redirect me if there's already a thread for this!), and I haven't seen a thread on this subject. Just thought I would ask.

I have had problems, since being diagnosed and since starting birth control (NuvaRing), being turned on. My libido has disappeared. I feel awful when I'm with my other and we have the time and the space and everything is perfect...except I don't WANT to! I haven't been significantly turned on since about a year ago (diagnosed June 2006). It sucks. It's not like I can't O. or anything (I can! and it's great.). But...it just takes forever to get me to that point.

Has anyone else had problems with this? And/or does anyone know if it could be due to PCOS or Birth Control? Or both??

Since I started BCP's a few years back, I experience the same thing. My libido was just never as high and whereas I used to orgasm very easily, I became a bit of a "fight" to have one.

During the week that I'm off the pills and on my period, my libido is far stronger, so I'm quite sure it's the pills causing it.
