Unable to access SC at home, getting error at work
I have searched and nothing came up for my issues. Up until this past weekend I have been able to access SC.net via my ‘crappy lappy’ at home. I did not get the graphics completely but I am able to view and reply to threads. Now I just get a blank screen w/ a drop down similar to the Forum Jump menu. This computer is very old hence it’s name. It runs on WindowsME, I am using dial up AOL 4.0 (shhh don’t laugh) and I believe the IE version is 5.0. I never had this happen before. Now, I am able to access SC.net via my work computer. Today I started to get an IE error that reads OUT OF MEMORY LINE: 56. . I can not go to the next page (link I clicked) until I click ok on the little box. My work computer is WindowsXP, and IE 6.0. This just started today.

Same here. I am at work. Don't have access to go changing things. At home...computer is too hold to support 7.0. I guess I am SOL from seeing SC.net at home.

This is a FLASH Player issue. I gave Kat my post for her to post for me (since I don't have 15 posts, I can't post a URL) ... anyway, she should be posting it soon ..
(Just remember, everyone, that not all issues that happen when you're visiting the site are 'site' issues. There are browser issues, and 'other' updates. If it's your work computer, ask the IT department to update the more common things on your computer - it's not really something that I can address on my end.)

The current Public release build of the Flash Player is 9.0.47.0, is that the version you currently have installed?
If it shows that you have any version/build other than 9.0.47.0 installed you might consider updating the Flash Player to see if that will correct the problem.

I cant say yes. I can not download the latest version. Work restrictions. But I am on an older version of flash player and I will just have to live w/ the POP UP box.

Will you IT department come up and update? I wasn't allowed to download anything in my office, either, but the it guys would hook me up. (Of course you can't use 'need to get on SC without pop ups as your reason )

I've just put in an IT request for IE and Adobe Flash upgrades. Wish me luck! I work for a huge corporation, so even simple requests involve red tape...
