Unhappy Uncompfortable pain during sex?

It seemed like after I stopped taking birth control a year ago sex became kinda painful. I even had a cyst rupture during sex. Don't get me wrong some postions are ok, but certain ones do not feel good anymore. Does anyone else have a problem or know if this could be from PCOS? Or am I jus weird?

I actually had the opposite problem. While I was on Depo (I know, bad) it made me unable to, for a lack of better words, self-lubricate. And sex was very painful. Now that I'm off of Depo, everything is back and wonderful. Maybe talk to your GYN about it, it could definately be your hormones wacked out and making things not like they should. GL hun!

yeah, sex has been painful for me on and off. it really sucks because no what what i do sometimes, nothing helps. i dont know if its me PCOS or not, but i am really really sevsitive down there. it even hurts sometimes to put a tampon in. i asked my old doc if my PCOS was a problems, he told me i just had an infection. i tooks meds for it, and clearly it wasnt the problem.

i am trying to find a new doc. the only problem is, i have no insurnace. so its going to take me awhile

Amanda, sometimes endometriosis can cause your symptoms. It would certainly explain why it happened after going off the pill cuz some ob/gyns use the pill to control symptoms of endo.

Amanda, may be you just need to increase you libido. It helped me a year ago when I had awful pain during sex. I had a course of Sentia pills for women and changed my life-style. It helped.
