Under nail lines blood dots??? Looks like splinters.

Hi, I am freaking out right now. I have had these wierd spots under my nail beds for a couple of weeks now. They are tiny dots that form lines that look kinda like splinters. They are red and turned brown after a while. BUT they were blood you could tell. They were vertical also. If anyone knows what they are please let me know!!! THANKS!!!

I had them too but my doc said it was not "impressive" meaning not that bad.
Sometimes if you cut them too short you get the same type thing.

oh, hmmmmm. they dont hurt or anything. they just look like little lines that are actaully blood. I dont know what they are but i have very clean clear nails with pink beds to them so i wouldnt think it was a fungul thing but maybe.

Here is what I found online. It is very interesting. I also have some ridges in my nails (which may be what the doc was talking about)and the "splinters" happend after having nails put on years ago b/f my wedding.
