This is one of my biggest problem areas - my tummy - mine is absolutely covered in hair - I've tried everything - bleaching, tweezing, creams, shaving, tweezing blah blah blah and I'm getting sick of it. I only get to be without it for about 2 days and then it's back as it's so virulent. I look like a gorilla and I'm 20 yrs old - how am I supposed to get a boyfriend when I look like this, or even wear a bikini on the beach. I don't think I'll ever be able to go on holiday again or ever have sex again. That prospect doesn't enthrall me. :-(

I'm so sorry.

I have the same problem. I went to a new endo, and I didn't shave, pluck or wax for a week before the appointment just so I could show her how bad it had become. Her eyes just about popped out of her head when she saw my belly, and in her profession she's seen a lot of hairy ladies!

I shave my stomach (ooooooh I HAAAAAAAAAAAATE having to write that.) At first, I was just as freaked out as you are, thinking that noone is EVER going to want to have sex with a woman whose belly resembles a man's. I was mistaken.

What I have realized is this: take care of your hair for you. Don't flaunt to early in a relationship. (Yeah - like any body would WANT to flaunt it)

Men really just want someone who will be nice to them, laugh at their jokes - even the stupid jokes, and have sex with them. That's about it. If you can manage those things and you don't give them crazy-girl attitudes, they'll be devoted to you forever, belly hair and all.

Sure some guys are real ***holes. Most aren't, and many don't care about the hair just so long as you keep yourself reasonably trimmed and don't make a huge deal of it.
