hey everyone - here's my story....
DH and I have been married since June 2005, have been not preventing since July 2005 and have been actively TTC since Sept. 2005. My periods have been far and few in between. My last normal ovulation before starting any meds was Oct. 2005 (when i started charting). From that point on until I started clomid my periods were anywhere from 40 days long to 283 days long, usually without ovulation. In Nov 2006 I finally met up with a fertility doctor who after a 5 minute conversation and a quick peak down in you know where prescribed me clomid. Round 1 was 50mg and didnt make me ovulate. Round 2 was 100mg and I ovulated on CD18. After that I tried soy instead because i couldnt cope with the headaches i was having from the clomid. I did 100mg of soy and ovulated on CD29, and then the next round of soy at 175mg and ovulated on cd27. I then went back on clomid because i wanted to return to my fertility doctors supervision as well as ovuated earlier. I'm not on round 3 of clomid at 150mg and FF says I ovulated on CD17.
When I first met with the fertility doctor i asked him about PCOS and he said I didnt have enough of the symptoms. What do you ladies think? I have gained 20 lbs in about a years time and have since then been sitting at 140lbs solid - i work out regularly and eat healthy and havnt been able to lose an ounce. I have a history of ovarian cysts, uterine and breast fibroids, high blood sugar, slightly low thyroid, dark thick hair under my belly button straight down to my groin, dark hair on my upper lip, and i've recentlly noticed thin light hair on my 'side burn' area of my face. Now that I'm getting AF reguarly the first day of flow has been excrutiatingly painful. I have a high pain tolerance after going through 6 kidney stones but this pain is intense.
I'm not sure what else to do with my dr and what to ask him for....any suggestions and thoughts would be helpful...
