Going to be fun going home tonight :os
Hi guys.
I'm fine thank you.
It was a nightmare getting home last night. Normally takes me 30mins ( ish) took me an hour and 40 mins grrrrr sure there was no need for it to be that long really.
Last I heard ( around 7pm last night ) the town was still evacuated and they had called out for a different set of bomb experts.
Will see if I can find anything on the news and update you all.
:o)
Excitements over, they blew it up this morning. :o)
BOMB disposal experts have blown up the World War Two bomb which caused huge chaos in Coventry city centre yesterday.
Builders working at the Belgrade Plaza building site discovered the unexploded bomb at noon yesterday (Wednesday).
Bomb disposal experts were initially called in to deal with the bomb. But, due to the bomb's complexity and the extreme danger facing them, they called in further help from Cambridgeshire.
They carried out a controlled explosion on the bomb at 2.43am this morning (Thursday). Police then lifted the cordon which had been placed around Coventry city centre yesterday.
