Untitled (As poetry, this kinna sux...but I thought it just might bless someone...)
You are My anchor in this stormy sea
So I lavish upon You my love and my worship
In Your embrace I find peace for my soul
So I lavish upon You my love and my worship.
I look in the mirror and I want to cry
Feeling so ugly I just want to hide
My hair is all wrong and my skin is a mess
And who is that fat person who's looking at me?
And then You come and dry my tears
and You ask me to look deep inside
To see the me that You created
Beautiful and brillant and overflowing with love.
I listen to the doctors and I want to scream
Feeling so enslaved by this nasty disease
A monster dwells within me and whispers of death
And promises me years of torment and pain.
And then You come and hold me close
And ask me to listen to Your Words
To know that You alone are in control
And are the Master of these mysteries.
You are My anchor in this stormy sea
So I lavish upon You my love and my worship
In Your embrace I find peace for my soul
So I lavish upon You my love and my worship.
