Been a while, just thought I would check in with my cysters and say hello.
We've been busy busy lately. One of our foster daughters got moved over to the Houseparents next door and switched with another girl for us. We lost our other foster daughter Leah this past month as she turned 18 and is trying it back with her adoptive mother. Please keep Leah in your prayers as we found (as suspected) that she is Manic Depressive which stems back to her biological mother.
Our new girl is an affender and broke a severe parole violation and needs prayer for wisdom, descernment of spirit, and guidance, as well as anything else you are lead to pray. Doug and I may be getting a new girl in a few weeks to add to our home. We're excited but are told she may be extremely tough (as most girls who come through our lives right now). Please keep these girls in your prayers, as many of them are quite troubled.
Our new insurance kicks in and we both are seeing a dr. on friday, and will get a referral for an RE for Tues. appointment.
Though our trials are different, we are making it through with Gods grace and mercy. I see Him in everything.....though sometimes my faith is small. I'm really starting to work on what God has planned for me, and what I should be doing as a child of God. I'm seeing my strongpoints and my downfalls and instead of ignoring them, I'm coming to terms with them, and enjoying the fact that instead of getting defensive or feel sorry for myself, I tackle them head-on. What difference its making in our lives. I'm admitting my past selfishness and working to overcome it to be a better steward with what God has blessed me with.
As for conceiving my own child, well........I totally believe that God will grant me this request......in His time, and in His way. I'm not complaining as the Foster Children we have are such a blessing to us. Sometimes we learn so much more from our girls than they ever could with us. I have a husband, our foster daughters, two dogs, a house, and lots and lots of love. I couldn't ask for more.
My part, is now I am trying to empower myself with enough faith to conquer PCOS. To be able to go grocery shopping or sit down for a meal and not be tempted to overeat, or worse eat the foods that make me sick. Though everyday is a battle for me, I've been exercising (hiking three days a week, and using my Pilates Machine three days a week). Little steps..........God will do the rest with Faith and Trust in Him.
Just thought I would update you all....let you know that things are going well.
Please pray for my health as I do feel extremely fatigued. I'm excited for what God has in store for me though.
God Bless you All!

I'm so excited about everything...as a matter of fact, a few things happened today.
I found an RE here in OHIO and can't believe how wonderful he is and what a great center it is. My first visit is officially on Tuesday.
Then, I've been trying and trying to get donated tickets to our local theatre here in the falls and was called back with them saying they only give out waivers to two people, however, if we would like to bring them the night before at dress rehearsal, we may bring ALL the girls from each foster house. That was definately God! These kids will all get in free, the night before to watch "The Wiz" Praise God for His love and commitment to these beautiful teens.
