I got a call today from the pediatrician that is taking care of the baby boy I may adopt I missed the call because I was at work with my doctor and could not just leave him. ANYWAYS she left a message sayig that everything came back okay so far . BUT they still want to do an EEG to check his brain waves and make sure he does not have any problems with seizures. I was explaining to the doctor I work with (Dentist) what was going on and he told me not to just settle with he's okay and that I need to ask why did they think he was having complications and is everything going to be okay with him from here on out. I REALLY BELEIVE IT"S NOTHING SERIOUS AT LEAST I"M PRAYING STILL. I will keep you ladies updated as we go along.
Great news!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sure hope everything works out for you the way it should. You will be a wonderful mommy for caring so much so early! Best wishes keep us updated!

I talked to the pediatrician today and they have me even more confused than I was before!!! They did an EEG on the baby last night and told me ALL TEST SO FAR ARE NORMAL BUT.............
he may still have developmental issues because they have no idea why his eyes are still rolling down??????!!!!!!!! This is suppose to be one of the best hospitals in the world. I don't know what the outcome is going to be with this child but I have decided that I am going to adopt him and just pray for the best. I just hope he is healthy and does not have any of these issues later on That the doctors say he may have but it's true what if I gave birth to him I know I don't do drugs, drink, smoke or anything else that would harm a baby and if I gave birth I would keep him so I just have to leave everything in God's hands. I will be bringing him home tomorrow after they do another test tonight they will let me know all I need to know about his overall health.
Congrats! So how does your husband feel about all this?

I think DH is just like all new expecting fathers NERVOUS AND AFRAID OF THE UNKNOWN. And maybe even a little jealous or so it seems to me. I think more just nerves LOL. Like I really have alot of room to talk it's 5:30 in the morning and I'm posting on here since I can't sleep and he's knocked out LOL. We are suppose to pick the baby up today at 12:00 and I have Never been so nervous in my life. I think we are both worried about the unknown but are praying for the best. I really want to believe that everything is going to be fine with him because so far everything has come back good ONE final test and then I'm taking him to my cousins sons pediatrician to get her opinion on the situation.
Congrats Mama!!! How exciting! Enjoy every minute because it goes by fast! I will be praying for answers for you and your new baby!

WEll, Little Matthew is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH is totally in love with him and I'm so relieved everyone of Matthews test came back completely normal. It was so funny yesterday when we got home DH told me why don't you go and get some food to eat but leave the baby here with me I said OK it took a little longer than I expected to get home and DH calls me saying"YOU have a baby here that won't stop crying"! so I'm trying to rush back home and when I walk in the DH is walking the baby around and has him wrapped in a blanket telling me the baby's diaper was wet and showing me that when he changed him he pee'd on the couch and at the same time DH is following me around with a diaper I say what is wrong with you you keep trying to give me that diaper LOL DH could not get the diaper on him and had wrapped him up in the blanket LOL. After that he was fine walking around holding him singing to him and then did not want to give him back to me . EVerything is going to be just fine.
Welcome to motherhood!!!!!!!!! That is awesome and so encouraging that it happened so quickly for you! Post a pic when you have a spare minute...those will be hard to come by! Congratulations again!!!!
