 UPDATE ON JOURNALS & PCOStories...
I haven't forgotten about the Journal/story section.
The problem has been the software platform. There is a hack/mod that can be added to the message board, but until recently, it hasn't been a stable release. Apparently, it's kind of 'buggy'.
What's more, every time the BOARD software has to be upgraded, there's no guarantee that the new board will work with the old journal hack...
Sooooo, I've found a BLOG platform that might work - apart from the message board.
I'm still looking into the particulars (mainly because it isn't cheap). Price aside, the application will allow members to have their own blog - with templates, etc.
We would then be able to have a link in our sig which would automatically show when we've updated our blogs. If anything happened to the message baord, nothing would affect the blogs, and vice versa.
The other thing about the blog platform is that I have to find someone to design is. The price only includes the 'guts'...it ain't pretty.
So...I'm on the hunt for a code wizard, but I think I might have found one...
