 Update on Me!
Hi everyone,
Well I haven't been here for a while.....been lurking quite a bit.
My update so far....
We've been TTC for 18 months. I went on my first cycle of Clomid....& got pregnant. I was spotting & cramping around week 5 so my doctor thought that it was just implantation bleeding but to keep an eye on it. Well the cramping went but I kept on spotting. I was having regular bloodtests to check that my HCG levels were rising but they weren't so I had an ultrasound....he couldn't find a sac anywhere....just alot of lining built up (this was at 6 weeks 6 days along) so he booked me into hospital with the suspicion of an Ectopic pregnancy.....well it did end up being an Ectopic pregnancy.....I lost my baby (7 weeks) & my right fallopian tube in the process. I had no warning that it was ectopic....no pains....I was lucky as when they operated, the tube was ready to burst......It has now been 11 days since my surgery & I have recovered very well, no pain anymore. We can't start trying again for 6 weeks.....that is sooo hard as we have been trying for so long now....but oh well.
So thats where I am up to...My gyno wants me to have a couple months off clomid.....not sure how I feel about that....I am feeling lost & wish that we could start trying again but I know I can't.....
Anyway, hows everyone else been? Hope you all have been ok.
