Just wanted to post a quick update for those who were reading about us losing our first adopted child.
We sent a video and dvd to Liberia for the orphanage to show Kacie's birth family and we were told they had no reaction. Not good, not bad, just nothing. Just days before learning that news we had decided to pursue adopting another child, so this news validated that decision.
We have accepted a new referral for a baby boy who is approximately 6 months old right now. I would love to post his pic but we have agreed with the orphanage's request not to for privacy issues. If all goes well (yeah, right!!!) my dh should travel by July. I can't wait to have this little one in my arms, but I know both dh and I are alot more cautious with our emotions this time around.

Ajani- We are having the most difficult time coming up with a name for baby! Maybe because our hearts aren't fully open this time yet, I don't know, but I am waiting for the "lightbulb" to come on the way it did with the name Kenya.
