Hey everyone-
I'm new at this. ( Someone needs to let me know how to post my own message instead of replying ) Anyways, I was diagnosed with PCOS 1 week ago today. I starting taking MetFormin 500mg. A little history.... I'm 22 years old. I first went to the gyn when I was 17 because I missed my period for 3 months. She put me on birth control to put me back on schedule. It worked. Then I got off the pill and had my period every other month up until about 7 months ago. So to make a long story short she diagnosed me as infertile and sent me to a sepcialist. My new doctor is wonderful. And now a week after starting metformin, I have started my period. Is that weird? Somone give me a lil; insight as to the possibilties. Feel free to email me animal0110@hotmail.com I really know nothing about PCOS other than what I have read online.

BC - birth control
FF - can also be Fertility Friend (a site that you can use to track your temps)
GI - can also be gastro intestinal (Met can cause some major GI problems - nausea, diarreha, constipation, vomiting)
Oh and FMU isn't on there - first morning urine. I saw someone post on another site that she kept seeing people use the FMU test and thought it was pretty good because they got good results with it.

Thank you! I was starting to go crazy reading some of the posts. It was like a word puzzle, with no answer key. I actually printed the darn thing out and put it by my computer so I can refernce it until I get them all down. Again, Thanks.
New to this site and browsing thru- I was reading your posting and wanted to say you are an inspiration to all of us, dealing with loosing your babies and still trying, stay positive and May God Bless You !
I am new to this site and trying to figure out how to post messages. How do you do it, hopefully this is right and how do you check for a response. Is this stuff done instantly like through messenger? I see that some people have images or pictures on their spot how did they do that. BTW, I am Tamika and I have PCOS, which is starting to really get on my nerves. Hope to hear from some one soon.
