Hi Ladies,
I need to do something about the hair on my upper lip, its really beginning to bother me lately. I have had my eyebrows threadded and it lasts for a good 3 weeks but I'm not too sure whether to get my upper lip threadded or do the 'classic' waxing.
I'm in exactly the same position as you, for the past month I've been using hair removal cream, which doesn't get it all so I have to pluck, and it makes the skin red. I'll be interested in what ladies have to say.

I just bleach mine. I cant stand my DH with stubble, so I cant imagine having it on my face. The trick to bleaching is to figure out how long to leave it on to get the job done and not chemical burn yourself. HTH
Mine's too thick to bleach or use hair removal cream (and I'm allergic to a lot of hair removal cream too!), waxings good short term, but I've found after a couple of years that the skin on my top lip can't take it anymore and goes very dry and scaly, so I start laser treatment on Wednesday..
...if you decide to go with threading prepare for the pain!
Good luck whatever you decide to do with it!

I would try waxing first if your hair isn't too thick. My upper lip hair used to be very thick that wax and nair wouldn't take it off. I was shaving for a little while but have been going for laser which has dramatically thinned it out.
I wax about once a month, and bleach once, mid-month, in between, until it's long enough to wax again. My mustache is very "mild", so you might have to do it more often, but I find that the two methods work well together. I've read that it's best to wax just after your period, since the skin is supposedly less sensitive then, so that's when I do it.
