Ok, my pcp, allergist and gyno have all now ordered me to see a specialist.

For the past several months, i have been breaking out in Urticaria or more commonly known as hives. .... only these aren't your every day run of the mill hives....these are gigantic and are completely antihistamine resistant.

In other words, nothing stops them or helps me feel better from them. The only option is to drug me so much i can't feel anything and only sleep - not good for a working woman.

I had these before about 4 years ago (for a period of 2 years) and then they disappeared. All tests have been run and nothing is conclusive. Now, they want to send me to a gyno who is doing a study on pcos and Urticaria and their interaction...so basically they are saying it is most likely hormonal.

My question is has any one else experienced this...we know it is not food, medicine or environment related (done every test under the sun).

Any and all thoughts welcome.
