Points: 1,265.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,265.00 | Urticuria/Hives Hi I'm new here and I have a question. Have any of you experienced Urticuria/hives. I had them when I was young, and they just came back last month. I was diagonsed with PCOS in August, and have been ttc since May 07.
Some things I read talked about them being caused by a hormone imbalance, and I'm wondering if it could be related to the PCOS. My RE told me to call a dermatologist or allergist, but they have only told me to take antihistimines, which stop the itching, but not the hives. Any insight? Thanks! |

I was just curious to see if anyone else here had them and maybe knew if it was stress or hormone-related.
Thanks again! |

It always comes back (like every other day,) even though I avoid what triggered it like the plague. Hives live in your nervous system... that's another reason they aren't easily cured.

(1) was definitely from penicillen (sp?) when I was sick
(2) my friend's house... she has a cat so that could be it but i had kitten when i was younger and never got any hives so we still don't know why everytime i come from her house i get them.
good luck at figuring out why you got them! try real hard to examine everything your exposed to |
