If we knew what the problem was it would have been fixed. So I guess the answer to your question is: Maybe not, and certainly not before Christmas.

Username change is not a standard board function, it's a hack. If you'd like to to help us out and look into the problem, that might expidite things. It can be researched here: www.vBulletin.org.
