I have NEVER NEVER NEVER in my life started myperiod early...usually I only have 2-3 a year...well I started using emerita prog cream last month..cd 12 on and I was bleeding last night....it was a nice full bright red bleed..now this morning nothing...don't know whether to continue using the prog or not...I think most insturctions say stop using it then resume of cd 5 or 12...my doc is no help since I am in limbo in between my old doc and waiting for my RE specialist appointment in September...My current doc thinks it is silly to even mess with the prog creme....she would rather I just take provera but I wanted to try this....any advice???

I'm no expert with NPC, but from what I've read, I think you are suppose to use it from day 5 or 12 until day 28 and then stop, and you should have AF within a few days and resume using NPC at the next day 5 or 12 (depending)...

So, were you using NPC even after you bled for that first time? If yes, this might have cause you to stop bleeding, but if you weren't, than I really don't know.

As far as I know, NPC is suppose to simulate the second part of your cycle (luteal phase), so during the time you are using it, you shouldn't bleed, but once you stop, it should expect AF within few days.

That said, I've been using cream myself for a month now, and it hasn't been like this yet... but I'm hoping it will eventually regulate my hormones that way.
