Default Using soy isoflavones to induce ovulation

I have just finished my first round of clomid and my cycle was really short at 24 days so I am concerned that clomid is affecting my uterine lining. I was wondering if using the soy method can do the same thing. Has anybody had any experience of this with soy?

That's an awesome question! I am wondering though, if anyone would know that without having an ultrasound done?

Unfortunately there isn't any research on using the soy isoflavones specifically for that, so there is no way to tell for sure...

On one hand, the soy acts on the same receptors in your brain that clomid does, so maybe it would have some of the same effects?

On the other hand, soy is also a phytoestrogen, which increases lining, so maybe it would work the other way?

I think that this effect is something that happens over time though, so if you used it a for a few cycles, then took a break, I don't think it would be a problem??? Not sure though...

Thanks for all your answers, I was being to think that it was a bit of a whacky question. I am trying my second round of clomid now anyway and I have been taking DCI for at least two months now so we will see what happens. Good thing is that there is now provera involved which maybe could have added to the complexity of the situation.
