Have any of you "cysters" heard of and/or used a cream called Vaniqa?? It is for facial hair.

Thanks for any input !!

I have heard of it but havent used it. Vaniqa isnt safe for pg or ttc cysters. Yes, it is for hair growth.

I have had several patients have good results with vaniqua. If you have a compounding pharmacist in the area and your pcp will write for it that way it would likely be much cheaper. It does need to be used indefinitely. Jen

Hi Ladies,

I was given a prescription for Vaniqa. So far for me it has worked as good as the doctor said it would. While I was hoping for complete loss of the hair,Vaniqa only keeps it from progressing. I use a hair remover from Avon, the only one that doesn't burn my skin. Then I apply the Vaniqa. I have read that if you are PG or TTC you shouldn't use it.
My next step would be laser removal but unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover it and it is quite expensive!Maybe when I hit the lottery....LOL!!!!!
Take Care,
Tina
