I remember going to my family physician 15 years ago with a ripped out magazine advertisement requesting the cream however it was not available.
All subsequent visits to other doctors over the years also resulted in me leaving my doctor's office discouraged and emptied handed.
So for all of you that have been living in the dark like me, I just wanted to update you that Vaniqa is now available here north of our American neighbours who have had this hair solution for over a decade. |

$100?! Yikes. How much do you get for that? A toothpaste tube? Less?

if you check out my original post the word Vaniqa is under lined. If you click on the work/link, it will bring you directly to the vaniqa website for more info.
Ajani,
I have no clue how much is in a tube but my doctor said she was prescribing the smaller tube incase things don't work out for me. It can cause skin irritation and I have skin issues. She also said she couldn't stress enough that I only apply a very thin coating to my face.
If Vaniqa doesn't work, we're going to try Flutamide but I hope it works as well as people say it does. |

I am under the impression that the change was recent.
The pharmacy didn't even originally realize it was disontinued so I can't blame the doctor for trying.
It's just my luck that when I stopped trying to obtain Vaniqa is when they finally released it in Canada & now that I could finally get it, it's no longer available.
Guess I'll be trying Flutamide instead. |
