There are many tax centres across the country. Sudbury does have one. I have not yet had issues with my medical claims which includes my co-pays for dentist, prescriptions, vision, extended health and health benefits and I have been claiming them since 2000.
You shouldn't deprive yourself of your legitimate claims. God knows they add up, especially if you don't have benefits or limited benefits. I spent close to $500 on rx glasses this yr, my insurance only covers $150.

We have stopped trying to claim any other expenses(medical or otherwise) on our taxes as a few years back we had such a hassle with the tax department that we have concluded to stop claiming anything but incoming income....but I guess that's what the tax department hopes people do. |
