Unhappy Vaniqua

I have used Vaniqua for the hair growth on my chin/face. I have found that it really doesnt make that big of a difference on me. I have full beard/moustache that I shave. It grows back very rapidly and is dark. Besides being VERY EXPENSIVE....Im looking for other options! Anyone had any similar experiences?

Well.. the Vaniqa worked for me but I went to out of town and forgot it.. so I didnt use it for several days and all the hair came back plus more! Everywhere it touched hair grew back even in places where the was no hair before! I wont be using it anymore, plus its so expensive!

I had zero success with this. Nothing. Period. Honestly, the only thing that has FINALLY worked for me is laser hair removal. The hair is not gone, but it is definitely thinning out, and that shadowed look is gone. One thing you may want to consider is waxing your moustache instead of shaving. If you have a few days where you can avoid society (at least that's how I am!) in order to grow it out a bit, I've found the results are much better. My hair started growing in slower and lighter. Plus, if you wax, you only need to do it every six or so weeks and can just pluck in between. I don't know your growth patterns, so that may not work...just a suggestion.

I agree with PrettyInPink! I would definitely opt out for the Laser Hair treatments. I, too, have had success. It can be quite expensive but it definitely beats having to shave, wax, pluck, etc. everyday.

Btw- I had tremendous success with Laser Hair Removal back in 2003 until recently. The hair is coming back again, but I'm going in for more treatments.

I'm wishing you luck!
