Default Vaniqua and hair raising stories!

Hello Ladies

I have been using vaniqua religiously for 3 months now and have noticed no difference whatsoever in the hair on my face! I have my upper lip threaded every two week and still have to pluck the odd very dark and very long stray hair out on a regular basis but this cream seems to have no effect at all - i am also using it on my chin area and the side of my face.

My chin is a whole story in its self and for the first time in 9 years my husband has commented on how sore it looks - i shave it and keep getting told not to but as someone who meets joe public every day i am extremely conscious of the regrowth and i hate to cake it in too much make up as then i look like a drag queen with five o clock shadow!

My daughter rubs my chin and says i feel just like dad! Thanks babe!

I am so depressed by this endless cycle - my libido and confidence are zero and its only my sometimes present sense of humour that some how keeps me smiling. Please please please advise me on any ides for getting rid of or reducing this ghastly and irritaing issue!

Thanks ladies

im so sorry to hear you arent having success with it. have you been back to the doc? how often do you use it? i have been using it twice a day for about a year now and am finding much improvement, but it did take a while to 'kick' in so to speak. have you tried bleaching as an alternative? i do a combination of bleaching, plucking and vaniqua. also, are you on any other medication? coz some things seem to make it worse/clash etc from what ive read on here. i dont know if i can help, but i do understand, so maybe that is some consolation? xx

Someone told me to try bleaching but the hairs are very light in colour anyway, there are that many that it wouldn't make a difference for me to bleach them, you would still see them as much. My preferred method is waxing with those little facial wax strips, should be less maintenance than shaving. Until something better comes along anyway!
