vaniqua not on face

has anyone here tried using vaniqua on area other than their face, because even though i know it is not approved i am thinking of using it on my hair below my bellybutton and my bikini line. do you guys think this is a good idea?

i really don't see how it could do any harm, other than to your wallet! Topicals have far less systemic effects than pills. I actually read about vaniqa online and I found a journal article where they radiolabeled some particles and looked for urine excretion. the study reported vaniqa's secretion in the urine is VERY minimal.

the active ingredient is used for african sleeping sickness. So I am assuming it is antiparasitic? I don't knwo for sure.

But I really think the risk is small. Just because the studies only did it on the face doesn't mean it's not safe for other areas, just means they didn't want to bother with the rest of the body. So I think you should give it a shot!

I have used it both on my neck and my chest with good results. You have to be religious about using it twice a day and after you pluck/wax, but I did have good results when I used it! And you don't need to use a lot so one tube can actually last a while.
