Question Varicous veins

Thursday I noticed a bump on the inside of my left foot. By friday morning my leg was numb off and on (mostly when walking) and the bump was huge. So I went the school clinic the nurse told me to keep my foot elevated over weekend as much as possible and to see the dr monday. So friday night I notice a bump on right foot. Spend the weekend scared out of my mind, but telling myself its just varicous veins no biggie...but with my grandpa having just died of 2 strokes the idea of blood clot worried me. Go see dr he says varicous viens and to get the tight sock things for it. I'm broke and no way of buying them at least not till I start getting a paycheck with means starting working which means getting a job and I'm trying just not having any luck yet. Any ideas of what I could use as a subsitute until I can afford to get some?

Default here are some things you can take

There is a product out there called veinastat. You can find it in a store like Wal-Mart. It is a little expensive though, $9 but it'll last a while. It works really well. I speak from experience.

You can also use horse chestnut, which is the base of veinastat. I don't know how much it cost, but I think you can find it in a healthfood store.

By the way, are you taking the pill? If you are, that's probably what's causing them. Sorry if this is trivial information.

any help is help at this piont. no I'm not on any meds except my anti depressant. I honestly think it cause I'm not active enough, but its kind of hard to work out while sitting doing homework...and I have so much homework at times I literally have the problem of needing to drive to campus cause of time limits and I am only 2 blocks from campus.
