Default Veet?

Hi,

I apologize if this has already been asked before, but I'm not around much.

I recently purchased the Veet Facial Hair Removal because I was going to be in a wedding and I HAD to get something to remove the hair under my chin and on my neck besides tweezing, so I purchased that kit. So far, so good. However, I am waiting to hear some horror story about it or it cause me to grow a mountain man beard.

Does anyone know anything about it? Horror stories are welcomed as I want to stop using it and go back to what I was doing if it isn't good.

Thanks!!

I didn't know Veet has a facial hair remover, I only get up to El Paso every 3 months or so. I have used the leg hair remover and love it. The only bad thing for me is that it eats at my fingernails, so I started wearing rubber gloves when I apply it. Good luck and let us know how it works!

Thanks Lorie!

So far it has worked really well. It comes with a little application thing so I haven't experienced any problems with my nails. I found it near all the other facial hair remover stuff and decided to give it a try. Hopefully someone will post who has used it so I'll know continuing it won't leave me with any unwanted results!

I've not used the Veet. I've used Surgicreme. And it is actually working very well for me. Admittedly, my hair growth is still mostly just alot of the blondes--that get really long and noticeable...with a few darker ones scattered all over...

I pluck the "terminal" (dark) hairs, and use the cream all over everything else.

One thing I like about it, is it comes with a soothing balm for afterwards.

THAT is worth it's weight in gold, if you ask me...

HTH

I used the Veet before. In all honesty though I don't think it was the facial hair remover one. I can't remember. It worked great if I only used it once a week or maybe twice with the days spread out as far as they could. The last time I used it I did it twice with only 1 day in between and it burned me. Only way I know to explain it. I was deeply red under my chin for several days and was so obvious. It also burned during that time. I never used it again. But once again I may have been using the regular one. Hope it works better for you.
