Default Veet Concerns

I've been using Veet to remove the hair around my lips for years, as that's one area I never wanted to shave. The last time I used it however I got this awful chemical burn I never got before. I'm always careful not to go over the recommended time. So now I've been hesitant to use it again, but the stache is getting awfully bushy and it's time to remove it. Has anyone else had this experience? Any tips to prevent it from happening again?

I tried nair and veet, both gave me a chemical burn on more than one occassion so I just gave up on those. Sorry! All I can suggest is try really hard not to go over the time limit and wipe off the lotions too hard? Maybethat is why this is the first time its happened to you?

aww, ive had the burn, too. My skin is soooo sensitive - that if i use something too many times, i get allergic to it. Could you try a different brand instead??
