I just have to vent. Yesterday was a month since the m/c. My sister, me and my mom are all fighting (long story) so my parents call my DH to tell him my sister is pregnant!! URGG! I think she is only like five weeks, so I think she should have waited a bit longer to tell since (1) she's had two miscarriages in her life already (but has two healthy kids, so she knows she can carry) and (2) they already know I'm having difficulty with my sister and her life style and her decisions so why throw that in my face so soon. It's just a mess and I hate dealing with all the drama my family creates.
My family has no idea what it's like to have a medical condition and not know if you can carry a baby full term. And my mom told me a few weeks ago I need professional help since being around other pregnant people is uncomfortable for me!! LOL!! She has no idea. I'm really not having that much difficulty and I don't even cry once week now...but I think I should be able to grieve. She was talking to someone else and couldn't even name the medical condition I have or what it's really about!! Yet she knows every detail of my sister's ex's life and what he's doing!! I just wish I could avoid my family for the rest of my life at this point!

I am so sorry sweetie, I agree.. she could have waited a little while longer. Do you think this was a way to get back at you... ? You say your all fighting, I hope it all gets sorted soon!!!
Some people don't have the ability to understand things they don't go through... I have sent my family a ton of info about PCOS, and all it brings... and they just don't seem to get it.
Just know that we all understand, and that we are all here for you!!! I am sorry for your loss hun, its so unfair!!!

Family is so complicated!! Unfortunately they are not the people we can count on during real crises sometimes. I hope you have some other support. You should grieve!! Don't let anyone put a time limit on that or define it for you. I'm sorry they're a pain.

((hugs)) Sorry you are having to deal with family issues on top of coping with a m/c. Losing a baby is something others don't understand until they have dealt with it themselves personally. Of all people...with your sister having had m/c, she should have been more sensitive. ((hugs))
We didn't tell my DHs family about my pregnancy or the miscarriage just for that fact...they would be VERY inconsiderate. My in-laws do not even know we are TTC. Because, in the past, my mil has told me I am to old for another baby. Nice, eh?
Take your time grieving. You do whats best for you. I am so sorry for your rough time & all the pain you are going thru.
Best wishes.

Thanks, everyone. Yes, I definetely think this is her way of getting back at me. My mom seems to have tinted glasses with everything my sister does and doesn't voice her opinion to her...very aggravating. DH's family is very supportive since his mom had five m/c due to IC and one baby was born early and only lived a few hours due to IC.
