Hi, Mollie!
I suppose it's a personal preference thing. To be honest, I can't tell the difference in any of the Venus blades, so I just buy whatever replacements happen to be on sale or those I have a coupon for. They all seem to get the job done, gently and smoothly.

I use men's razors so can't comment specifically on the Venus. But I have used the Mach 3 vibrating razor and didn't really see much of a difference compared to the non-vibrating one.

Though I think the blades might last a bit longer with the vibrating razors... it'll shake the bits of hair right out whereas with the plain razors, you might not get them all out by rinsing.

I actually like the regular Venus better than the vibrating one...

I just bought the new Venus Breeze a few days ago. I love it. It's a 2 in 1 and you don't have to use soap or shaving cream. It's awesome!

Hope this helps. I bought it at wal-mart for 8 something and it came with a replacement blade.

Oooh I've gotta try the new one... I currently use a vibrance. I LOVE the venus razors. I am kinda diggin the vibrance right now because it tends to slow me down while shaving, which decreases irritation and makes for a smoother shave. I did notice that when using a new blade, it feels like a smoother shave than the non-vibrating ones. But the blade doens't seem to have the longevity of the regular venus. Not sure why... maybe just a fluke?

I agree, Lioslaith... The first shave with a new Vibrance razor is very nice and seems to last a little bit longer.... but it definitely does seem to wear out much quicker...
