My best advice would be to go to a doctor. Don't worry about the getting fat part, though that did happen to me...worry about that if you don't get this checked out you could be ignoring a problem that could cause you issues later in life (diabetes, fertility issues, etc). You can always keep your weight under control with discipline and good habits.

As far as the hair goes, try waxing? If it's something that really bothers you, I would strongly suggest seeing both your gyno and possibly an endo to see if there is a cause to all of it. Then, if your hormones are normal, you can look into getting something more permanant (i.e. laser hair removal or electrolysis). I just started laser and after one treatment it has made a huge difference both in my appearance and self-esteem.

I know the physical aspects are hard to deal with at our age, but there are greater concerns. If you suspect something is wrong, it's always best to get it checked out. It's always better to know.

Good luck.

Get to a doctor as soon as you can. Once you get your hormones in check try laser hair removal. I have hair all over (face, lower back, arms, nipples, tummy..). At one point I would have to shave my face daily otherwise I would have more stuble then my husband. I have been getting laser treatments for a little over a year and only have to shave once a month. It can be costly but will do wonders for how you feel about yourself. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.
Hugs!

I agree w/the ladies. Get to an Endocrinologist as soon as you can. With PCOS, every day counts.
