The only thing that made any sense was the comment about warming the babies milk for fear of it getting to hot.

But you have to agree, there is a degree of radiation. Mind you, I'm one of those people who hates having any electrical items around me, have a filter on my monitor... paranoia!

It might seem like bull, but what if it isn't? Why not be safe rather than sorry? Besides, food that is cooked in a microwave has no nutrient value left when done, even if it did prior. That is a studied truth.
I never cook anything in the microwave, although I will re-heat some things. Most things that are made for the microwafe just don't taste good (hot pockets, etc), and most things don't taste as good when heated or re-heated in the microwave instead of the stove (like canned soups, stuff like that). It's just more convenient. If you really pay attention, you will feel a difference in YOUR own energy when you stand near a microwave when it is running. I can't stand close to them, I can't stand it.

I don't take to much stock in a lot of these kind of articles. If I agreed with all of these studies then everything in the world is going to kill us and if thats true than how come our life expectancies are higher than they have been in countless generations. I am done living my life in fear of every little thing, when it's my time to go I highly doubt that my microwave useage will have anything to do with it.

I have a microwave and I use it occassionally but I never trusted the thing.... When I was pregnant I used to throw the bad of popcorn in, turn it on, cover my belly and run out of the kitchen! lol
Anyway, I'm not afraid of it or anything but I appreciate that some research has been done on our old friend, "Mikey". I wonder if this article is biased...Some of it absolutely could be plausible, but I think it would take every meal being Miked for like your whole life or something to get radiation poisoning from it.
Interesting article!!
